Description
This popular concert waltz was written in 1883. Strauss drew the melodies from his operetta Eine Nacht in Venedig (A Night in Venice). It contains several lively and catchy tunes, and the final sweeping melody was used as the theme for the BBC drama "The Strauss Family".
